Refund request window
You may request a course refund for any reason within seven calendar days of the course start date or your enrolment date, whichever is later. Requests received after this period will not be accepted under the academy’s standard policy, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Administrative charge and refund amount
For an eligible student-requested course cancellation, a 25% administrative charge will be deducted from the amount paid for the course. The remaining 75% will be refunded. For example, if you paid ₹10,000, the proposed deduction is ₹2,500 and the refund is ₹7,500.
This deduction is subject to applicable law. It must not be used to reduce a refund where the law requires a different remedy. If the academy cancels your course, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that course, with no 25% administrative deduction. The seven-day student-request cutoff does not apply to academy cancellations. The treatment of duplicate payments and other mandatory remedies remains to be finalised before publication.
How to request a refund
Email shikshaagurruedtech@gmail.com within the request window, preferably from your registered email address. Include your student name, course name, enrolment date and payment reference or receipt. State that you want to cancel the course and request a refund. You do not need to give a reason within the eligible period.
Do not send passwords, OTPs or complete card details. The request’s receipt date determines whether it was submitted on time; processing after the cutoff does not by itself make a timely request late.
Processing time
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 working days of approval. The academy will communicate the refund status through your registered contact details. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the payment. The approval turnaround and working-day definition must be confirmed before publication.
Course access after refund — proposed wording
Once your course cancellation and refund are completed, access to the refunded course ends. Access to separately purchased courses is unaffected. The handling of future instalments and any partially supplied course bundles must be confirmed before publication.
Scope and statutory rights
This draft addresses course-fee refunds. Separate treatment of physical books, delivery charges, mixed bundles and separately purchased mentorship sessions has not yet been agreed.
Nothing in this policy excludes any refund or other remedy required by applicable law. The seven-day cutoff and 25% deduction do not override such rights.
